Rock Steady – Reimagined 🎨
This piece has had a little journey of its own. I recently returned to Rock Steady—part of my Balance collection—and felt it needed a new burst of energy. I’ve reworked the colours to make them more vibrant, added two birds for a sense of companionship and steadiness, and brought new texture and depth using pastels.

Sometimes, like in life, the foundations are strong but the story evolves—and this version feels more alive, more balanced, more me.

My facebook Art friends. I’ve been absent from here for the past couple of months due to the sudden loss of my mum. It’s been a challenging time and I’m now slowly getting back into creating, and excited to share that I’m working on a new seascape piece. It’s a little different from what I’ve done before, with my own twist on the natural beauty of the sea. I can’t wait to show you when it’s ready. Thank you for your continued support. ❤️

Wishing everyone a great weekend. :)
I have been busy working on the final two paintings of a new series. These four paintings are my Balance Series an arrangement of forms, colour and line to evoke the sense of balance in the viewer.
They also touch on something very personal to me as anyone that knows me will be aware of the balance and vestibular problem I have.
At its core, finding balance is about finding what makes you happy and supports your needs, goals,health and desires in life.
Each piece serves as a personal note of encouragement that thoughtfully reminds viewers of life's potential and beauty.
