Not great weather today so looking for something to do? There’s an interesting selection of Jim Thorington photos in Butcher’s Hall today until about 3.30. See the bus that looks like it’s in the Italian job, see if you can recognise the man in the military uniform - and then wish you hadn’t!! See the tapestry of Tavistock through the ages… get your coffee from , go in and see the exhibition! Something to do on a wet Sunday!

Tavistock has been home to many individuals who have made their mark in the creative world. There are artists 🎨, authors ✒️, poets 📖 and musicians 🎷, to name but a few. Come and meet some of them at the Mobile Museum.

The “mobile museum” is a new initiative designed to reach out to the public in spaces outside of the Tavistock Museum itself. Pop into Butchers’ Hall next to the historic Pannier Market and take a look at these examples of creativity in Tavistock.
