Our new exhibition #gifted includes one of our newest acquisitions, Harold Dearden’s Regent Circus 1945, acquired last year through the amazing @heritage_wshc project #creativewiltshire funded by @heritagelotteryfund and with the additional support of the Friends of Swindon Museum and Art Gallery. This is a remarkable depiction of a bustling Swindon street at the end of #worldwarii complete with bus, wet dog and American GIs. The exhibition opens next week. #harolddearden #swindon #swindonhistory #swindonpast
