Tickets for our Victorian Weekend go on sale today!

Visit us from the 22nd to the 24th of March and travel behind visiting 01 Class number 65 from our friends at The Bluebell Railway. Our very own resident LSWR T3 number 563 will also be in service, as well as U Class 31806 and 34028 “Eddystone” to bolster the locomotive roster.

We are very pleased to announce that we will be welcoming SECR 01 Class Number 65 to the railway to take part in our Victorian Weekend on the 22nd-24th of March!

Originally built as an “0” class in 1896, the locomotive was rebuilt into an “01” class in 1908 and ran in service until it was withdrawn in 1961.

Number 65 is normally based at the Bluebell Railway, but is shown here in the video during a visit to the Spa Valley Railway. We would like to thank the Bluebell Railway for allowing the locomotive to visit us and we can’t wait to see Number 65 alongside the sole surviving LSWR T3 Class “563”!

Number 65 will star alongside our home fleet of locomotives in a busy 3 day weekend of steam fun! Tickets and timetables will be added to our website soon but for now, make sure you save the date!

Don’t forget you can save £5 per ticket when you purchase your tickets in advance for our upcoming Victorian Weekend!
The Victorian Weekend will take place between Friday the 22nd and Sunday the 24th of March and will see visiting 01 Class Number 65 attending thanks to our friends at The Bluebell Railway. Running alongside this fantastic locomotive in its equally striking livery will be T3 Class Number 563, as well as U Class 31806 and West Country Class 34028 “Eddystone”.

Trains will be running between Swanage and Norden and with a busy timetable scheduled, it promises to be a fun weekend! Trains will stop at all stations including Herston Halt upon request, meaning you can get on and off and see what each station has to offer - then if you purchase a Rover Ticket you can get on and off as many times as you like and can travel on as many trains as possible!
