Here be dragons! These are a few I've made in the past. I'm currently working on another - with different details. Let's hope I have less issues than I'm currently having with my butterfly piece.

Today I had a plan - so I cut out lots of little copper butterflies in three different sizes. The first firing of the piece is in the kiln as I type. I don't think it's going to come out quite as I saw it in my mind 🙈, but it's probably going to be the first of several firings.
I'll update you when I know more about what's happened. 🙂

I would like to hope that this is a safe space for followers, friends, and customers to be able to like, comment and enjoy, not just my work, but the other bits and pieces I post.
With this in mind, I WILL reserve the right to intervene, comment and ban anyone who I feel is even on the verge of acting inappropriately, and block people if necessary.

That said, here's a poster I liked from the front in Treburden, Brittany for earlier this week. Hopefully it inspires me to post more 😁

After a busy weekend (including the 90th birthday celebration of my godmother), today was the first chance I had to work a little more on the sassy seahorse. The first picture shows most of where I finished last week, the second picture all cut, ground and cleaned today...and I've even begun to foil.
Will I get any further tomorrow? Only time will tell. I intend to, but I've lately found that the best laid plans rarely happen. If I do, you'll get a picture and an update.
PS I don't know what happened, butts was supposed to have posted yesterday evening -FB gremlins I guess 🤷🏼‍♀️

I know I've been a little quiet on social media for a while, but I'm still here, plodding along. Recently I've had a few commissions for wedding day gifts - and it makes it a little more difficult to share at the time of making. However, this is a part of a wave form that I'm able to share for an upcoming wedding.

I love this panel when the sun shines through it. It's been sat in my bay window at home for a very long time. It always makes me smile.
For the life of me I can't remember where I had the pattern from, or who it was by, or even if I still have the pattern about somewhere.

Yesterday - Saint David's Day I met these two lovely ladies, Sian and Kirsty, who came in for a full day stained glass beginners class. We had a great day, and they both seemed to enjoy themselves.
Neither had done any glass cutting before, and after a quick cuppa and a chat they chose to do the copper foiled technique, as the patterns they chose would be more achievable.
They both worked really hard, and went home with two lovely pieces - a cobwebs (with spider) and a daffodil (for St David's Day. )

I visited the M C Escher exhibition today, which was well worth seeing. One of the exhibits turned you into a version of yourself as Escher's 'Rind'. As you can see, I 'may' have enjoyed that part.
