We have successfully held 24 exhibitions (and counting!) to this date (Jack Regnart being the 24th exhibition, to hang tomorrow morning) and sold over 18 pieces of work, representing local artists in this fabulous 13th century building, once performed in by William Shakespeare and frequented by the likes of other famous visitors including Charles Dickens, Oliver Cromwell, Samuel Pepys, H. G Wells and Buddy Holly and the Crickets!
I’m so pleased we’ve had such an amazing array of artists who have been in touch and been represented, even if only for a month, in our fabulous building! Together with the team here at BTP and you lot, we have brightened up the arts scene in this town and I hope each has enjoyed displaying as I’ve enjoying assisting; I have certainly enjoyed meeting some lovely and extremely interesting (!) artists of all backgrounds and ages :)
Thank you again to all the artists’ hard work and for their fabulous art work and good community spirit! :) Sorry if I have not included many photos of your work (please send me any photos you have of your exhibitions! Particularly: Iain Ling, Fiona Shaw, Darryn Michael, Harry Sheppard, Tom Lynn, Dan Woolard, Wendy Dopheide, Bob Ford, Louise Luton, David Walker, Vicky Slater, Nav Duty, Martin Cook, Sally Firino, Elaine Ford & Ian Rowden!).
