I am looking for my grandfather from salford area. We have tried a lot of options and still getting no where. Even archives, social services, and a lot of ancestry sites. What makes it worse we dont have a form of any age , birth, or death if he has died.

George lockett , he was a partner to my grandmother, that sadly died in 1974 and my father and his siblings was fosterd around that time. The last time my father was in contact with was around 1980s. Since then no trace, no location or anything. Really strange fact and puzzling for our family.

The last known address was in 1970s 164 halliwell lane, cheetham hill , salford Manchester .

118 bignor street , salford

If anyone knows of any information that can help. Or anything can lead us to the right direction i would very much appreciate that a lot.

Many thanks
Are there any pictures of St Margarets Orphanage 90-92 Elizabeth Street Cheetham Hill? My Grandma was an orphan here.
