At the end of the fair the Tim Thorpe award was presented for the artwork selected by visitors as “the people’s choice” The winning artwork was oil painting “Storm over the Needles” by Kerry Webb. There are over 240 artworks to view and buy, with a dozen tables of ceramics, textiles, jewellery and other crafts. There’s also an Art Café serving tea, coffee, cakes and light lunches so it makes a great venue for a visit.

It’s only 19 days now until this year’s Charity Art & Craft fair opens at Leighton Park school. We’re getting lots of entries, but we know that some artists aren’t sure what they can enter because they’re still exhibiting at other events.
So we’re extending our closing date until Monday 20th October, particularly to allow members of Woodley and Earley Art Group to enter after their group’s Autumn exhibition.
