There’s something rather lovely about this part of the process - wrapping up a painting and knowing it’s about to leave the studio for its new home 📦

𝘽𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙚𝙙 𝙃𝙚𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨 …

Created in April this year, during an artist residency in London with Sophie Tea

This piece came from memories, feelings and the sensation of being surrounded by the great outdoors - capturing something of that feeling of openness, movement and wildness, rather than a particular place.

𝘽𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙚𝙙 𝙃𝙚𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨 is now on display at Wild Rabbit Interiors , where it can be viewed in person.

Perhaps it’s ready to bring a little of that feeling home. ✨

I think I just needed to play with colour today.
So I let myself go a little…
Neon pink. Bright yellow. Quick brushstrokes. ✨
Much more spontaneous than my usual work.
And honestly, it was exactly what I needed.
Emerged from it….
‘𝙇𝙪𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙤𝙪𝙨 𝙍𝙪𝙨𝙝’
I wonder if this little one might be meant for someone here 💛

A new home for 𝙑𝙚𝙡𝙫𝙚𝙩 𝘽𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙯𝙚 ✨

Created during an artist residency earlier this year, this painting feels especially close to me. Made while I was away from the Lake District, it wasn’t born from standing in the landscape, but from carrying it with me through memory and feeling.

It always feels like a privilege to know a painting will continue its journey somewhere it will be loved and cherished. Thank you to its wonderful new collectors 💕
