Captain John Crawshaw RA served with 1903 Independent Air Observation Post Flight during the Korean War. He was awarded a Distinguished Flying Cross as ‘his determination, coolness and complete disregard for personal safety have inspired in the new pilots the greatest confidence.’ This photograph is taken from an album compiled by 1903 Flight in 1953.

NEW FOR THIS SUMMER, visitors to the Museum can now try their hand at ‘firing’ a replica SA80 in our rifle range simulator. The game has two different levels of difficulty so it can be played by both adult and younger visitors. It also offers a traditional rifle range view or an urban fighting option. See if you can beat the top score!
