Today is the last day we are offering 2 for 1 on tickets (cheapest free) for National Lottery players. No need to pre-book, simply bring your National Lottery ticket/ Scratchcard along.
We have a split tram service. will run from TownEnd Terminus to Bowes Lyon Bridge. will run from the Bandstand to Wakebridge.

Travelling to Town End from Victoria Park on Sheffield 74 on the first day of our 2025 season. You can see the Red Lion pub and the new Tram Stop Cafe on the left as we reach Stephenson's place for alighting. Why not call in to see our new cafe and for a warming beverage, snack or delicious cake?

So, despite it looking like a vintage old lamp, it is actually a sewer ventilation shaft - a ‘stench pipe’ - that came from ! 🚽
Stench pipes were first installed in the period when concerns over public health led to the creation of underground sewer systems. The purpose of these pipes was to vent the gases from sewers to a higher level, to avoid them being smelled or breathed in by people in the street. The build-up of flammable methane in the underground sewers could also be dangerous, so needed to be released. The decorative finish on the pipe hides its unpleasant job! 💩

We are in the process of upgrading our ticketing system Tramway Village , which means that you will be able to book your tickets online from 1st April. We will therefore be offering online ticket prices to all visitors on arrival until the end of March 2025. Our lovely Admissions team are looking forward to welcoming you and we offer free parking. The trams running each day will be posted on our Facebook, Instagram and X sites by 10am on the day they are running.

We're getting ready for re-opening on Saturday 15th March from 10am. We also have our Community Day on Sunday 16th March, when residents living within a 5 mile radius of Tramway Village receive free admission for that day. We look forward to welcoming you!
