Had a really nice Fossil trip to Robin Hoods Bay. Didn't find loads however the ammonites we did find are stunning and very detailed. Also I am really pleased because I have never found a pyrite ammonite until now! :D

Had a fantastic day out exploring a stream in Offerton, Manchester. This is part of the Carboniferous period with the ferns dating as old as 358.9 to 298.9 million years old! Also met a lovely family down there who helped me identify which rocks to look at :)

Im in the midsts of planning a long January weekend down in Dorset! Interestingly, the old tongue twister, she sells sea shells on the sea shore is actually based on a real woman names Mary Anning.

Mary lived in Dorset and would collect fossils after bad weather. Her living was made by selling her fossils to tourists and Geologists alike. Mary's findings on the coast contributed valuable information of prehistoric life to today's scientific community! Big up Mary!

Still working out the dates for the trip. Will keep you all posted.

Great weekend at Kettleness. Found some stunning Ammonites and Belemnites! Just working on cleaning them up now :)
