Traditionally this event takes place on Remembrance Sunday and every year we hold a two-minute silence at 11am to commemorate the contribution of British and Commonwealth military, as well as civilian servicemen and women in the two World Wars and later conflicts.
Despite the changes this year, we'd still like to remind you to take 2 minutes at 11am to remember those that fought for us.
❤️ Lest we forget ❤️

Welcome to Akina
The Montagu family are delighted to announce the safe arrival of a daughter, Akina, to Lord Montagu’s brother Jonathan and his wife Nathalie. Weighing in at 8lb 13 oz, Akina was born just after midnight this morning in Berlin, where the couple live.
As is customary to mark the arrival of a baby girl, Lord Montagu had a pink flag run up the flagpole over Palace House to welcome Akina to the family.
House manager Chris Morley is seen raising the flag in a voluntary capacity as he is currently in furlough! Chris last hoisted the pink flag in 2002 to signal the birth of Mary Montagu-Scott's daughter Emilia and, two years before that, ran up a blue flag for the arrival of Ben Scott.

My son Chester is proud of his very own personal motoring exhibit, which was inspired by yesterday's trip to Beaulieu National Motor Museum. 🚗🚙🛻🚚🏎
Fantastic visit to the museum today, really, really good! Just a couple of shots I took. Brilliant to see the Willy's Jeep outside - that satisfied me for the day while my little boy was kept occupied by the miniature car hunt. Wonderful!
Is the miniature event still going ahead this weekend ?
Absolutely fabulous event today - bought my two youngsters down and we had a brilliant day checking out the stunning Porsche vehicles on display. Many thanks to all to Beaulieu for hosting and all the owners for bringing them down.

Home by Seven
One woman’s solo journey to ride all seven continents on two wheels
Welsh girl Steph Jeavons ran away to see the world. She wanted to see the sunset from every angle. She wanted to see an orangutan and a baobab tree. She wanted to become the first person to circumnavigate the globe and ride a motorcycle on all seven continents - and to sing karaoke on the way.
Steph’s cravings for escapism manifest themselves in many ways throughout her life. The book begins in her late teens where she finds herself in prison by the age of twenty. She knows there is a whole world beyond that razor wire just calling out to be explored.
Twenty years later, and armed only with a stern tone of voice she reserves for naughty dogs, drunk Turks, Iranian taxi drivers, semi-conscious British soldiers and Saudi truckers, she rides her trusty steed Rhonda the Honda solo around the world, to the highest, driest, wettest, hottest and coldest corners of the earth.
This is a powerful and honest memoir written from the perspective of a liberated single woman taking on the world with a dogged determination to complete her mission at all costs.
Home by Seven is told with honesty and wit and from a unique perspective.
