Upcoming Exhibition: Mysteries of the Mind

Upcoming Exhibition: Mysteries of the Mind MA Museum Studies students curating a new exhibition about the mysteries of the mind. We, a team of 20 students on this year’s MA in Museum Studies at UCL, are developing a temporary exhibition called Mysteries of the Mind.
(1)

We will explore where different people, both past and present, have situated the mind in the body. The exhibition will also present theories of how the mind works and the practices humans have used to access it throughout history, as well as present some unanswered questions about the mysterious mind. This exhibition will be on display in the Leventis Gallery at UCL’s Institute of Archaeology from 13 May 2016 to April 2017. Alongside the exhibition, a private launch party in the exhibition gallery will be held to celebrate its opening. We also partnered with the Science Museum to develop a Late Event titled Everyday Brain Enigmas, which allows visitors to engage with current neuroscience experiments attempting to understand how the human brain make sense of the world around us.
