Attention all pottery painters!

In light of the coronavirus pandemic, our current opening hours are revised. We will remain open from Wednesday to Sunday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm except late-night Fridays which are revised to 1:00 to 9:00 pm; we will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

The world is experiencing an ever evolving situation and we doing our best to provide to the needs of our staff and customers. The above hours are subject to change at short notice so do please check www.art4fun.coom for any updates. We ask that you book in advance so that we can do our best to reach you by phone and email in the event of changes.

In store we are imposing social distancing, and request that employees and customers to not come in if symptomatic. What a wonderful little artist 😍🐥🎨

Crows are super smart and need lots of mental stimulation to be happy, so we taught Petrie how to paint! While most paintings you'll find in our Gift Shop are made by Mischief the White-necked Raven, the occasional Petrie masterpiece makes its way there. Both of these corvids have very different styles: Petrie prefers a round sponge that he dabs onto the canvas and Mischief likes the sea sponge that he drags across the canvas. What wonderful artists birds can be!

Have you seen this beautiful piece of ceramic before? It is believed to be the oldest piece of ceramic in the world dating back to 29,000 BC!!! How cool is that!
It's called Venus of Dolní Věstonice - She was found in the Czech Republic along with lots of little animal figures including a bear, lion, mammoth, horse, fox, rhino and owl! So incredible 😮💙
