With the launch of her first international sustainable bridal collection in 2011, made out of ground breaking eco-friendly fibres such as milk, banana, hemp, wild nettle and organic silk, Sanyukta Shrestha is also the first Nepalese fashion and sustainable bridal designer to have one of her sustainable couture creations preserved in the prestigious Fashion Museum in Bath (listed by CNN as one of the world’s Top 10 fashion museums) in 2012.

Nepali-origin British fashion designer Samyukta Shrestha has won the prestigious “Wedding Boutique Of The Year” title at the London Wedding Awards 2026. The award was announced during a special ceremony held in London on May 13, recognizing her boutique for innovation, sustainable bridal fashion, and social responsibility in the global wedding industry. Public voting and industry expert evaluations helped select her boutique as one of the UK's top wedding fashion destinations.

Shrestha has been working in London’s fashion industry since 2011 and is widely recognized for promoting environmentally friendly luxury bridal fashion long before eco fashion became globally popular. Her brand focuses on zero-waste production, fair wages, preservation of traditional craftsmanship, and women's empowerment, with more than 95 percent of the artisans behind her designs being women. Her creations are also preserved in a world-famous fashion museum, which houses historical collections dating back to the 16th century.
