Battery Hens Exhibition

Battery Hens Exhibition This exhibition is introducing 12 artists who have newly completed their undergraduate courses at UCA Maidstone. The amalgamation of courses, from Photography and Video doctrines, but where we were encouraged to work within various different mediums, has generated a collection of varied work.

Other mediums explored include sound, installation, performance and animation. Due to the termination of this cluster of niche courses, we wanted to reflect this in our show, hence breaking away from the accepted Free Range Festival for showcasing student work, with our title Battery Hens. Opening on the 23rd of June the exhibition will run until the 26th of June in the Apricot Room in the Rag Factory space in East London. Live performances and scheduled screenings are planned intermittently throughout the days and will be advertised accordingly.
