It is the love and appreciation of creating beautiful pieces with wonderful craftsmanship that this journey is about. Art and Antiques is a vast field of excitement, discovery and never ending learning. My goal here is to share with you some discoveries that I make on my path with the hope that they may find a good and caring home. These wonderful objects are only adopted temporarily by each one o

f us. They have survived many turns since their creations. Many of these pieces will show some of that passage of time, they will have imperfections; they will show their age. My pieces will not be perfect, but I will certainly point out their beautiful facets. Most collectors are not able to “adopt” the most pristine and spectacular pieces that appear on the market. It intimidates most people to be confronted with the astronomical figures that a magnificent 18th Century bronze gilt candelabra can command-particularly if it happen to be traced back to one of the most fantastic Palaces that French Kings possessed. We are here to enjoy those thrills with pieces that though not as grand and prestigious, they will equally give us joy, pride and more importantly a story to tell and pass on to those that surround us. It is a website that sells pieces that should excite, they should be part of an adventure, and more importantly, are not acquired for their absolute perfection but rather for their real value that goes well beyond a number. I am here to learn, to enrich myself and to share. I hope that we can have fun dealing with beautiful objects. Through this website, I will share news and some interesting discoveries, articles, auctions and much more. I will try to accompany those pieces presented for “adoption” with relevant articles that would enrich your acquisitions, and hopefully provide them with that significant sense of owning a small piece of history.
