We are thrilled to announce our ALTERED IMAGES film selection. We will update our SM everyday with a new filmmaker and selected work.

Director bio:
Julieta Tetelbaum is a film director, cinematographer and choreographer. She was born in Buenos Aires in 1990 and currently resides in London. The main themes of her work are: gender, feminism, childhood, violence and sexuality.
Her short films entitled “The Misfortune of Femininity” & “Wake Up! It’s Yesterday” were filmed in New York in January 2020 and November 2020 respectively. The short films were officially selected at international film festivals and they will be screened in various cities around the world such as London, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, New York, Toronto, Buenos Aires, Madrid, Barcelona, Warsaw, Bilbao, among others. Julieta is currently working in her first feature film that will be shot at the end of this year.

We host events that focus on creativity and community, and are always open to things that are experimental or just plain odd. Our regular events include Properganda (first Friday of the month) and Scribble Pie - both variety nights with a difference. If you have an act you want to try out, get in touch!
Soundstage is interviews with renowned figures from the film, music and arts worlds - a unique chance to see well known people speak in an intimate setting. Depresstival Presents (first Sunday of every month) is our resident anti-folk night. Every Thursday we host an open music jam with a rotation of house bands - you are welcome to come and join in, or just watch.
If you have an idea for a night you want to get off the ground, we have various evenings available, and if we like the idea will give you the space free of charge.
During the daytimes, we have rehearsal space for theatre or band rehearsals at very competitive rates.
