We are looking for an artist or designer to lead a week-long workshop programme with young people aged 14-18, during the first week of August (Monday 3 - Friday 7 August).

We encourage artists and designers of all disciplines to apply, but ask that you have experience leading workshops with young people.

Are you aged 11-18? This is an opportunity to shape your local outdoor space! Join us in Peckham for an evening workshop and create new surface designs for the basketball court at the Oliver Goldsmith Estate with Architect and Spatial Designer Bamidele Awoyemi.

In the workshop, you will explore pattern making and colour selection to make the space more vibrant and welcoming. Your input will directly influence the final designs for the court, which will be open for the summer holidays. You will also have a free hot meal from a local restaurant.

📅 Workshop Date: Monday 1st June, 4:30pm - 7pm

📍 Location: The Hub, 42 Bonar Rd, London SE15 5FB

Entry is free.

Additional opening times:
The exhibition is closed from 3pm on 14 March, re-opening at 12pm on Saturday 21 March.
It will also be closed from 3 - 6 April, re-opening on 7 April at 9am.

The exhibition continues until 30 March, with the following opening times:

Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm
Entry is free.

Additional Saturday openings:
Saturday 7 March, 11am – 3pm
Saturday 14 March, 11am – 3pm

⚠️ Temporary closure:
The exhibition will close from 3pm on Friday 14 March, reopening Saturday 21 March at 12pm.

🎤 Exhibition tour
Join us for an artist/curatorial tour on 28 March, 11am – 12pm.

In Living Memory reflects on intergenerational memory, everyday ritual, and the ways stories are held and passed through families, homes, and communities.

A new exhibition by Myah Asha Jeffers for Peckham Platform, at The Hub.

Rooted in intergenerational memory and everyday ritual, In living memory reflects on how stories are held, shared and passed on through families, homes and communities.
Commissioned as part of Memories for the Future, Peckham Platform’s community-embedded programme celebrating Rye Lane’s living heritage, this exhibition honours the voices and experiences that continue to shape Peckham’s past, present and future.

Starting 2026 off with some good news for Peckham Square! Building on the rich symbolism of Adinkras and Ashanti culture, in partnership with ,have selected artist , makers and Kelly O’Reilly of to create a “Garden of Hope” in Peckham Square.

The garden honours Damilola Taylor’s legacy and will feature a new sculpture by Godfried Donkor. Through 2026 the winning team will be exploring the concept of hope within a uniquely Peckham context, running co-design workshops for the community to refine the final design.

The garden’s completion is scheduled for 2027.

Peckham Platform invites anyone who identifies as a woman of Peckham — rooted here, raised here, or connected through memory and spirit — to help shape the next chapter of Memories for the Future.
We’re recording personal oral histories that celebrate the richness of our community:
Cuisine. Migration. Identity. Style. Faith. Architecture.
Come as you are. Bring your memories, your voice, your laughter, your truth — and contribute to a living archive that will be launched in 2025 and housed permanently in our future building on Peckham Square.

Before our evening Panel talk, join panelist in a zine-making workshop, all around the theme of Memories for the Future!

Materials will be provided, but you’re welcome to bring along whatever you may want to include in your zine – images, magazines, craft supplies or anything else!

👋 Zoë Thompson is a zine-maker and facilitator based in London. She champions the power of zine culture as a radical tool of expression and curates workshops centred around embodied play. Zoë is also the founder of sweet-thang zine, a community and indie press publishing work by Black creatives worldwide. Sweet-thang is rooted in black feminist politics and the concept of art as a portal for dreaming, joy and care.
