FEATURED BANDS

£50 cash prize for audience's favourite!
Performances scheduled from 9:45 onwards.

* Rubin and the Groovy Tuesdays------------------------

Rubin is a 20 year old singer song writer who has burst onto the London Music Scene with all the passion and determination of a man who means business. He blends all the graceful tones and nuances of folk with the hard hitting rhythms and undeniably infectious grooves that can be found in the more funky, jazzy genres of music to create a wonderfully fresh and compelling sound.

* SOLO ---------------------------------------------

SOLO creates a more acoustic variation of dream-pop, based on building and layering guitar loops over warm synths and drum machines. It's music that slows everything down and makes it pastel coloured whilst keeping everything full of energy and entertainment.

* More Ice and Honey ---------------------------------

In the beginning there were only two of them - guitar and vocals, doing some jazz standards and bossa nova. Together with the name of the band came more musicians and original songs. The music that they are playing is a mixture of finger-picking guitar with strong jazz vocals - mixture of styles and attitudes, complemented by various instruments to make a new, interesting sound.

* Anika ---------------------------------------------

Singer songwriter playing originals and covers ranging from fleet foxes or beach house to bon iver with acoustic guitar, loop station and sometimes a mini keyboard.

* Platypus Bear --------------------------------------

An acoustic trio with a sound like a bunch of idiots having fun, Platypus Bear are a bunch of idiots having fun. We're big into nifty vocal harmonies and homemade percussion, resulting in what only be described as semi-acoustic-rock-anti-pop-folk-punk.

Come along and support your favourite band!
