Last night’s vigil for Nahom Medhanie (RIP) brought together the communities in Somers Town. See this not as a shooting but as someone was taken away from all of us - said godmother Henrietta Lahai. Her grief moved us all. It takes a village to raise a child - an African saying. Frankie of who presided over an evening of drumming. With Javier of the somers gallery, Aaliyah of the community cafe, and many locals and others gathering in Somers Town style - life on the street.

Happy St George’s day! Saint of England but also many other countries- Ethiopia Catalonia and Palestine to name a few. An unwise night to travel as in Dracula ‘It is the eve of St. George’s Day. Do you not know that tonight, when the clock strikes midnight, all the evil things in the world will have full sway?’
This sits on the brickwork on the Sidney Street Estate in Somers Town as do many others based on folk tales. Help us preserve the work and destitute missing artworks - some we saved can be seen in the museum donate ! See bio.
