As part of our activities and wellbeing at Milkwood House, we always ask our residents if there is a special place they would like to visit or something special they would love to do.

Today, we completed two residents wishes. Both Heather and Helen chose something wonderfully simple but very special — fish and chips by the sea! 🐟🍟🌊

So, their wish was granted! We headed to the seaside and enjoyed a lovely day together, not forgetting the ice cream too.

Heather shared some fabulous stories about growing up in Southsea and told us what a special place it has always been for her. It was wonderful to hear her memories and see how much the visit meant to her. We also bumped into some old friends from Rake Activity Club

Sometimes, it’s the simple things that create the most special memories. ❤️
