We’ve been working on this pair of beautiful pieces over the last month, and yesterday we finally got them in place to transform this stunning loft space in Borough Market, London.

Working from ideas supplied by the customer and adding our own experience to the designs, we worked hard to turn dreams into reality for the client.

A truly special wall-mounted oval desk made in walnut with rattan doors with rattan supplied from the fabulous Westfield Rattan and lighting built in from Häfele UK Ltd.

The space also has a new pull-out sofabed with three big storage drawers beneath. Made in solid black walnut from Lathams Ltd and finished off with some perfectly plush cushions using a really lovely fabric from Wemyss called Fiora - the green pops so deliciously against the walnut!

After sharing the process behind this piece over the last week, she’s officially finished, polished, and ready to hold some music.
There’s something incredibly rewarding about working with solid oak the weight of it, the grain pattern, and knowing that this stand is built to last for generations. Swipe to see how those final details came together in the workshop!

Right now in the workshop, we’re in the process of building one of our all-time favorite pieces: our award-winning Oak Music Stand.

This design holds a very special place in our hearts. It’s not just about creating a place to hold sheet music; it’s about balancing form and function. The sweeping, fluid curves make it a striking statement piece in any room, but we didn’t sacrifice utility for beauty its practicality and ergonomic design are what truly make it unique.

Every joint is meticulously fitted, and every curve is shaped by hand to ensure it feels as good as it looks. We love making these, and we love knowing they will hold the music of passionate musicians for generations to come.

This solid oak coffee table was made recently and holds a special piece of green slate that was taken from the original flooring in the clients home in Nottinghamshire. We made it using traditional joint techniques, simple rounded edges, and clean lines to allow the woodwork to complement the stone and allow it to shine.

Something new is taking shape in the workshop.
A bespoke, wheelchair-friendly oak table designed and handcrafted with accessibility, comfort, and timeless craftsmanship in mind. Every detail is carefully considered to create a piece that is both practical and beautifully made.

Nick & Dan spent a busy two days down in beautiful Kent this week delivering and installing these two bespoke cabinets into a client’s lovely home. Finished in F&B Treron Eggshell Estate, the hard-wearing finish is complimented by oak backboards, glass shelving & doors, and recessed LED lighting. In a couple of weeks once the electrician has been in to wire it all up and get the TV hung, we’ll be back to finish off the trims, make sure everything fits just right and sign off a very long but lovely project.

Another of our Barebow lamps underway. This one is made in ash with maple curves, and the ash upright and based will be stained black. This will make for a stunning contrast to the light maple!
