'She was sooo magnetic,' said Maureen, pursing her lips with the depth of a long, fond memory when asked about what Mira Mountain was like in person.

I was sitting beside one of the House of Mirelle's top salesladies, hearing about Hull's famous fashion house for the first time.

Little did I realise it would start a journey uncovering the life story of one of Britain's most famous actress-entertainers and the Biography that would result.

Fast forward a few years and a new edition is on its way. Giving you loads more fashion history and a glimpse of what the House of Mirelle was like too.

Happy Birthday, Mira Bibbero Johnson. You haven't been forgotten or the achievements you made too.
