Before i add the highlights and details i decided that the tower of crockery needed more 'grounding', so I placed a vintage cloth underneath. It's quite subtle but works in my eyes. I love working on a large scale as it allows me to move around and feel inside the paint. This beast has taken months of contemplation... but today i think I have finished it.
