A Space To Be

A Space To Be... is going online. Our museums and artists have reimagined and adapted and will be running free online workshops during November and December. Each National Lottery Heritage Funded session is designed to help reduce stress and anxiety by giving 14 to 18-year olds the chance to be creative and socialise away from school or college. North Hertfordshire Museum

Tonight was the first session of 'A Space to be', an after-school art project for 14 to 18 year olds. 7 young people attended, and made these fantastic monoprints with artist Sophie Bennett. Geoff our catering manager provided mouth-watering pizza!

This is going to be such a great project. The artists are working with their museums to plan the activities which will be starting after half term. We still have spaces left for young people to join, so if you know someone aged between 14 and 18 who would enjoy and benefit from some creative activity in a friendly, relaxed environment please get in touch. (PS we will provide pizza for the participants too!)
