💾⌨️A big thank you to Chris from Wivelsfield !💻💿

Chris has donated almost his entire collection of retro consoles! A Saga mega drive 1 with remote controllers and a disc drive, a ps1, ps2, Wii, NES, SNES, game boy and lots of attachments to help enhance the game play of these fabulous Retro game consoles.

Thank you so much Chris for your donation, we know they hold lots of memories for you and we promise to look after them whilst new generations of young people get to experience them and generate their own memories.

💾⌨️A big thank you to Steve from Heathfield !💻💿

Steve brought us another donation. A bbc b micro computer that he has had since he was a youngster. In the box was also lots of games, a 5.25 floppy drive, a joy stick and lots of manuals. We are looking forward to playing the hobbit!😃

This is actually his second donation, previously we received a Amstrad CPC464 which had been out on the bus quite a bit with young people either enjoying games such as pinball or leaning how to code

We have been so lucky with lots of supporters donating equipment which has real sentimental value, we are always struck by the memories of the hours spent playing or coding. We thank you all!

🔌🎮 SAFETY FIRST AT RETRO RESET! PAT TESTING!🕹️💙

Yesterday, we gave all the equipment on the Retro Reset bus a thorough safety check! ✅

Luke, carefully inspected every cable and used specialist testing equipment to check our computers and consoles. He even spotted two loose wires in plugs that needed rewiring! 🔧 A big thank you to Chris Hunter, a big fan and volunteer, for bringing the equipment, expertise and for spending the day ensuring we are safe and compliant for another year. Very much appreciated!

For us, Retro Reset is about more than just retro gaming and computing. It’s about creating a safe, welcoming space where everyone can enjoy themselves, learn and connect. ❤️

We might love our old-school technology, but we never take safety for granted! 💙
