Sutton House

Sutton House Built in 1535 by prominent courtier of Henry VIII, Sir Ralph Sadleir, Sutton House retains much of the atmosphere of a Tudor home despite some alterations by later occupants, including a succession of merchants, Huguenot silkweavers, and squatters.

Last Admission 4.30pm Shop and Cafe Open 1 hour before the house on Thursday & Friday Mornings!

Storytelling at Sutton House this Saturday! Come along at 12.30pm to learn how to weave our stories of Sutton House together with a professional Story Teller. Or come along at 3pm to watch the performance! Please bring your friends, no need to book. Sutton House is a beautiful Tudor House in Hackney. Join our welcoming & lively Sutton House Book Group - the Book Brunchers!

This Thursday October 20th is the next Book Brunchers meeting,11am-12pm.

Book Brunchers will be followed by the Sutton House Scribblers! This is the first ever Sutton House Creative Writing group. It is just £2.50 per visit which includes access to the house (wonderful writing inspiration!) or £20 for 10 visits until November 2012.
12.15-2.15pm this Thursday 20th October. Meet in the Sutton House café.
