Our exhibition βBack to the 80s!β is now open at North Ayrshire Heritage Centre and will be on throughout the summer holidays until September. Itβs FREE and there are also lots of workshops and drop ins to attend. See North Ayrshire website for details. Thanks! π

Wow! What can we say?? Back to the 80s at Summerlee Heritage Park has been an absolute SMASH!! Huge numbers turning up to the exhibition with around 30,000 visitors per month going through the archway!!
We can't thank everyone enough for making it such a success! And good news! You still have time to go see it. It's on until SAT AUGUST 19TH. So get along for the last few weeks and see what all the fuss is about! G'wan!

Anna's (she's 12 and hates museums) favourite bits from 80s exhibition at Summerlee:
- The video games
- The dress up
- The record player
- The bedroom.

It was very good because it had many things to do and interact with and it was very nicely presented and it was like you were traveling through the different aspects of the 80's.
I learned lots about the 80's, the fashion, the entertainment and what was important to kids in school especially to do with AIDS which I didn't know much about.
It was very informative and interesting which made me want to learn more about the 80's which is very hard to do in my opinion. I had a great day!
