The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards Shop We are a regimental gift shop located inside Edinburgh castle. Also known as SCOTS DG, Scotland’s only Cavalry Regiment dates from the later 17th Century.

Our independent Museum in Edinburgh Castle represents the present and former Regiments – 3rd and 6th Dragoon Guards, 3rd Carabiniers and Royal Scots Greys and the Shop keeps a wide range of stock, representing military history and general gifts.

Own one of 100 replica Waterloo Eagles, produced by Hare & Humphreys.
As part of the Waterloo Bicentenary commemoration, the New Waterloo Dispatch delivered 2 golden Eagles from Waterloo to London. These are custom-made replicas of the Eagle standards of the French 45th & 105th Regiments, created by a combination of modern 3D scanning and old-fashioned artisanal craftsmanship. Now a small number of private collectors have the opportunity to own a superb memento of a once-in-a-lifetime occasion.

Hare & Humphreys Ltd, The Queen’s Decorators & Gilders, were granted access to the original Eagle of the 45th Regiment in the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards Museum at Edinburgh Castle. Using multiple 3D scans, they were able to create the 2 exact replicas of the eagles used in the official bicentenary commemorations.

Collectors can now purchase these eagles for £375 + p&p.
