A unique project for our workshop: we have just completed the first two Female Busts for the Wallace Monument, Stirling, Hall of Heroes and Heroines in Stirling. The two Women chosen for the first two Busts are of Mary Slessor which Csilla completed and Maggie Keswick Jencks which Graciela completed. What a privilege!

We had the pleasure of working on a sculpture of Prince Albert within the grounds of Balmoral over the summer. There were structural issues that required attention as evident from the stress crack splitting the bronze down the left shin of the sculpture. The surface of the sculpture was also addressed and full conservation works were undertaken.

We recently had the pleasure of working on 10 beautifully carved armorial panels from St Conan's Kirk in Loch Awe. The panels were suffering badly from detached/missing wood sections as well as woodworm. Its great to see them back together again!

Works have now been completed to the Hermitage park war memorial! Our works included re-securing and gilding the bronze cross, stripping and re-patinating the bronze elements, re-painting the faded lettering and re-cutting some of the eroded lettering.

A two year programme of work to repair and restore Clackmannanshire’s war memorials begins today.
We have appointed a number of specialist contractors to carry out the work, including Graciela Ainsworth Sculpture Conservation, Scottish Lime Centre Trust and Powderhall Bronze Art Studio
Work will include cleaning and undertaking necessary repairs in line with the guidance issued by Historic Scotland The programme begins at Alloa War Memorial followed by Alva then Coalsnaughton
