✈️ CADETS WEEK WRAP-UP! ✈️

As comes to a close, we’re proud to have celebrated everything that makes 859 Squadron special!

From learning lifesaving first aid and developing skills for life to giving back to our local community, being a cadet is about so much more than what happens on squadron nights.

It’s about building confidence, developing leadership and teamwork, making new friends and taking on opportunities that help prepare our young people for the future.

A huge thank you to our cadets, staff, volunteers and everyone who supports 859 Squadron. You’re all part of what makes our squadron what it is!

Interested in joining us? Whether you’re a young person looking for new challenges or an adult interested in volunteering, there’s a place for you in the RAF Air Cadets!

Here’s to 859 Squadron and the adventures still to come! ✈️

From teamwork and leadership to communication, problem-solving and building confidence, our cadets have the opportunity to learn new things, take on challenges and discover what they’re capable of.

Through squadron nights, training, camps and activities, our cadets gain valuable experiences that help them grow, work with others and prepare for the future.

These skills go beyond the Air Cadets, helping our young people in education, future careers and everyday life.
