We welcome back Trish O'Meara of Wormit Woolies for another series of workshops, this time making felted baskets. Trish is a fibre artist from Fife who not only teaches workshops but also sells her work through Country Living online Marketplace. You can see more of her work on her website. She will be exhibiting her beautiful vessels at the Visual Arts Scotland exhibition at Dalkeith Palace in August, so if you visit that exhibition you will see them....

The Writing Group returns for Block Three and will take place every second Wednesday till 27 November. Newcomers are welcome to join. Blocks One and Two were fully subscribed, so we recommend securing your place sooner rather than later. The intention is to establish and sustain a regular guided writing group, meeting in blocks of 5fortnightly sessions. The hope is that you’ll want and be able to return again (3 blocks per year) – however, you may attend just one or two blocks, and newcomers can join the group at the start of any new block....

A two day experimental workshop with Elspeth Lamb What is Mokuhanga, and what are Ukiyo-e prints? We welcome Edward and Lucy Campbell, both practising artists and workshop facilitators based in The Old Mill, in Palnackie on the Solway coast which they established ten years ago. It includes an exhibition space, bookshop and dye garden and they run the majority of their workshops there.
