There’s something special about Beaumaris. 🤍

It’s a place I’ve visited and enjoyed over the years, and I’ve always loved this particular view — Beaumaris Castle sitting against the mountains, with the Menai Strait stretching out beyond.

There’s something about the combination of history, landscape and that beautiful Welsh coastline that makes me want to capture it.

So I created my own little interpretation of Beaumaris Castle — one of the places in Wales that I’m always drawn back to.

A little glimpse of one of my gallery days. 🖼️

Loading up the car with fresh stock, travelling around Wales, catching up with gallery owners and seeing my work in its new home is one of the lovely parts of being an artist.

This time I’m at ArtWorks2celf in Betws-y-Coed, one of my favourite galleries. It’s always lovely to see David and Mark, who run the gallery, and to see my work alongside so many other amazing Welsh artists.

There’s something really special about seeing your work out in the world — especially in places you love. 💚

Back in Abersoch for a few days — beach hut time, sea views, and bringing this artwork back to the place that inspired it.
