A year ago this weekend, we lost our beloved boy Maxi-Corado aka Bubbaz (and many other names.. pumpkin smumpkin, le Sucre Plume, le Douphinois of Orsborne… you get the drift). He gave us 10 years of joy. I wanted to pay homage to him by painting one of my most memorable walks with him up the Trundel in the Summer of 2021 where we experienced a magnificent display of poppies. Miss you still & love you forever Bubbaz ❤️

We have had a couple of lovely meals at Brasserie Blanc in Chichester. The food was divine and the service second to none, combined eating at Brasserie Blanc makes a memorable occasion. This photo depicts one of my most favourite days with hubs and the late Maxi-Corado aka Bubbaz. We returned early from the most lousy holiday in Newquay to enjoy the beautiful scenery and days out locally here in Chichester, West Sussex. We had an impromptu late lunch at Brasserie Blanc where we enjoyed a lovely 3 course meal and a bottle of plonk. Bubbaz was made so welcome and the service was second to none. Happy memories as bubbaz left us for the rainbow bridge just 5-months later 🌈🐶✨

After painting one of my all time heroes, I painted one for hubs.. Roger Waters, who is in actual fact a huge favourite of us both! When I look at this painting I sometimes see Richard Gere, and sometimes my husband, but it is definitely Big Rog!
