FEIN Collections - made in new york city

FEIN Collections - made in new york city Based in Somerset: dedicated to selling prodigious international contemporary artworks.

FEIN Collections was developed with a desire to saturate my new home in Bruton with an innovative space for people to feel immersed in a connubial atmosphere of multidisciplinary familiarity and fresh artistic uniqueness. I have never purchased a work of art with the distinct intention of potential for increased market-price as the catalyst; the potential to ‘gain’ from an ‘investment’ is not the

reason for which I, personally, collect artworks. Rather, my intimate investment when purchasing an artwork is one driven by moments that transcend the formal market. However, I have found that I do have a pronounced ability to spot up-and-coming artistic talent and a remarkable ability to gauge the potential of marketability – and hence an increase in price in a short period of time on the market – of an artist in the world of art business.

The white board collage in the office at champions triumphs, goals and that which resonates with the gallery's vision and philosophies. At the centre of the board: a quotation by William Blake that owner/founder hand-wrote the first day of its hanging - over one year ago, 'To Generalize is to be an Idiot / To Particularize is Alone the Distinction of Merit.' Truth. ❤️

A great idea for this bank holiday weekend's reading: magazine. The May 2025 issue of everyone's favourite contemporary art and culture magazine features wonderful and insightful content (we particularly like ‘Don’t Mind if It Smokes’ by Francesca Wade regarding her book about the inspiration Gertrude Stein continues to provide for creatives). You might also stumble upon something familiar yet refreshed! Enjoy and happy reading. Best, Bruton.

' solo exhibition 'Nostalgia/Commitments' is still on view at the gallery.
