Life at our beautiful arch started over 10 years ago when we all met at an etching class. We became friends and it was at a post-class trip to the pub one night that we jokingly said that if we ever decided to start up a gallery it should be called Two Kats And A Cow (Kathryn, Katty and John, the Cow). Little did we know that this conversation would be the birth of our business.

We are getting ready for the collaboration show on Saturday 24 th August with comedian Dylan Moran. Amongst over 200 original works on paper, Dylan has produced a series of cakes, with underlying humour, these give an insite into his creative mind . Dylan has always drawn - filling hundreds of sketchbooks over the years and this is the first time he has ever exhibited. Join us on Saturday 24 th August 6-9 for a chance to meet the artists and see these unique works.

Just packing up almost the last unframed screen prints in this edition - we have 1 framed and I think 1 unframed of ‘Summer in the City ‘ and a couple of the ‘Palace Pier ‘ before the edition is sold out. These are hand made screen prints published by Katty in collaboration with the fantastic Artizan Editions , who have worked with many well respected artist and galleries such as the Tate Gallery and Bridget Riley - Katty and Artizan published over 50 editions together .

‘Hemlock Blue’ , ‘Summertime’ and ‘Pine’ are beautiful handmade screen prints by the incredibly talented .simonsen in collaboration with .Screen printing is one of the finest printing techniques , each layer is hand drawn or painted by the artist then hand printed layer upon layer - the build up of these layers of the finest inks give an incredible depth of colour . There are not many left in these editions . They are originals in their own right and once sold out they can never be reproduced . Just fine and beautiful work make with love and attention . We are open Friday- Sunday 11-5 - do come have a look .

Joanna Osborne exclusively makes ceramic dogs .. dogs are her passion ,especially hounds she says she just loves their devine features, elegant stance and pointy noses and we do too!.. these beautiful ceramics are approx 20 cm long.. all online and available from the gallery this weekend

Today's spotlight is on the incredibly talented worework artist Helaina Sharpley who has been selling her intriguing'cups and hooks' with us for many years. Helaina has caught the attention of collectors worldwide including the great David Hockney!
She has also created commissions for public spaces such as Summerset House.

I really loved painting a collection of Cornwall last year- they all just flowed - it was such a pity we couldn’t have our 20th anniversary exhibition - most of them have headed to new homes but I still have these 2 at the gallery which I’m really pleased with - we have had such fun in Cornwall over the years..
