Good Morning from a rather misty Brentford! - (Photo by @brentfordthrumylens )You can see our new solar panels on the roof so clearly, but it doesn’t look like we will get much sun today. The Museum had these 72 solar panels installed at the start of 2020, made possible by a grant from Heathrow Community Trust. Work commenced on the 7th January and was completed a month later, just in time to take advantage of one of the sunniest Springs on record. Surplus energy feeds into the National Grid and the Museum’s carbon footprint and electricity bills have been greatly reduced.
