🚨 BREAKING: Belfast Set for First Underground Metro System 🚇

Belfast could soon join major European cities with the introduction of a brand-new underground metro system, with early plans revealed today.

The proposed network would include:
• A City Centre Loop linking Titanic Quarter, Cathedral Quarter and Queen’s
• A direct Airport Line connecting Belfast City Airport to the city centre in just 6 minutes
• Expansion routes to Lisburn and Bangor to tackle commuter congestion

Sources close to the project say discussions are already underway with international investors, with construction potentially beginning as early as 2027.

Early concept plans also suggest underground stations at City Hall and a major new transport hub at Great Victoria Street.

If approved, the metro would mark one of the biggest infrastructure projects ever seen in Northern Ireland.
