We are thrilled to present our next project with French street artist who returns to the vibrant art scene of Hong Kong for his third show at , marking a significant artistic milestone in the heart of the city. The exhibition, titled "Geom3trical Acrobatics" promises to be a dynamic showcase of Marsh's distinctive talent and creative evolution.

Born in Paris in 1984, Tim Marsh's artistic journey is as diverse as his creations. With 15 years dedicated to practicing capoeira, he draws substantial inspiration from this period, infusing tribal motives into his artworks. Transitioning to the fashion industry in 2006, Marsh became a trendsetter for clothing brands and directed the fashion pages for Sn**ch Magazine until 2011.

During this time, Tim began asserting a more personal style, initially expressed through paintings conceptualizing childhood memories. Evolving into a distinctive architectural style, Marsh composes intricate geometric forms, patterns, and lines, embedding movement within the depths of his two-dimensional works.

Tim Marsh's creations evoke a theatrical mood with a palette of retro-style colors applied with spray paint, acrylic and markers. His compositions are characterized by a fusion of techniques. A perpetual experimenter, Marsh continually explores new supports, drawing from his experience in extreme sports to paint on surf and
skateboards or objects of functional conception.

The exhibition title, "Geom3trical Acrobatics" encapsulates Marsh's dynamic interplay of geometric shapes and acrobatic fluidity in his artistic expressions.

Attendees at the opening reception on February 4th, 2024, will witness the unveiling of not only Marsh's exceptional new artworks but also a uniquely adorned tram in Hong Kong celebrating the Chinese New Year of
the Dragon year and the 120th anniversary of the HK Tramway.

"Five Gals" open until this Sunday
11 AM - 7 PM
82A Stone Nullah Lane, Wan Chai, Hong Kong

L'Epicerie Fine Art & are thrilled to present "Five Gals”, a Celebration of Women artists and works in a curated group show that brings together an extraordinary collection of artists from Hong Kong and France.

This groundbreaking exhibition showcases the diverse talent and vibrant energy of the artists’ works. Five exceptional artists, each hailing from different backgrounds, life journeys, energies and mediums converged to display their unique artistic visions and creative narratives.

From sculptures and ceramics to tapestry, collage and paintings, these artists represent the rich cultural heritage and contemporary dynamism of their respective art. The group show embraces the fusion of traditional Asian art forms with modern aesthetics, resulting in a captivating blend of styles, and techniques.

"Five Gals" aims to highlight the diversity and creativity of these artists, with a focus on women artists works only. Both galleries carefully selected established and emerging artists, with who they are respectively working with, and who have made a significant impact on the art scene or commissions in the past years. They create their artworks in the past for their own studio production, exploring their environment, their own world and the connection between their individual backgrounds and identity.

This group show marks the first time to mix and present such diverse women artists artworks, making it a remarkable moment for both the artists and the galleries. Indeed, inviting these five artists from different generations, backgrounds and mediums has been challenging to find balance. The journey to bring "Five Gals" to fruition involved research, travel, and collaboration to curate an exceptional collection of twenty-five artworks.
