Inspired by a key ring introduced in 1969, the Return to Tiffany™ collection has become one of the most recognizable signatures of the American jewelry house.

Vintage Navajo bolo tie by Phil Chapo, crafted in sterling silver and turquoise, dating approximately to the 1980s.

The centerpiece features two turquoise cabochons surrounded by an elaborate composition of handworked silver leaves, twisted wire, scrolls and silver drops.

The reverse retains its traditional adjustable bolo mechanism, allowing the centerpiece to slide along the braided black cord. Long decorative metal tips complete both ends.

Stamped “PHIL CHAPO – STERLING” on the reverse.

Phil Chapo is a Navajo (Diné) silversmith associated with Southwestern Native American jewelry and active particularly during the latter decades of the 20th century.

His work is recognizable for its substantial silver construction and decorative combinations of applied leaf motifs, twisted wire and silver drops, often incorporating turquoise.

Large Art Deco Gablonz Glass Cobalt Blue Rhinestone Drop Earrings – Czechoslovakia, 1930s

The earrings feature faceted clear glass pear-shaped stones surrounded by multiple rows of intense cobalt blue glass rhinestones, suspended from articulated rhinestone strands.

The reverse reveals the traditional construction particularly well, including individual metal settings, claw-set stones and articulated rhinestone chains characteristic of period costume jewelry.

The gold-tone clip fittings appear more recent than the main mounts and were most likely replaced or adapted at a later date, allowing the earrings to be worn without pierced ears.

Gablonz an der Neisse, now Jablonec nad Nisou in the Czech Republic, became internationally renowned for its glass, beads, rhinestones and costume jewelry.

During the 1920s and 1930s, workshops throughout the region produced elaborate jewelry for international export, embracing the Art Deco taste for geometric forms, strong colors, symmetry and highly faceted glass intended to reproduce the brilliance of precious gemstones.

Antique ring dating to circa 1900, crafted in 800 silver (unmarked), and set with a large natural shell operculum cabochon.

Its combination of silverwork and an unusual Mediterranean marine material evokes the souvenir jewelry associated with Italy and the Mediterranean during the Grand Tour period.

Shell opercula are naturally formed calcareous structures used by certain marine gastropods to close their shells. Their distinctive patterns and colors have long made them attractive materials for jewelry.

Related examples are variously described on the collectors’ market as shell operculum, Saint Lucy’s Eye, Shiva eye or Mediterranean shell jewelry, although these names can refer to opercula from different species.

Long necklace attributed to the Neiger Brothers, crafted from molded Bohemian / Czech glass beads and dating to the 1920s Egyptian Revival period.

The scarab is central to the design. An important symbol in Ancient Egyptian culture, particularly associated with renewal and the solar cycle, it became one of the most recognizable motifs of the Egyptian Revival jewelry.

Norbert and Max Neiger were among the most distinctive makers associated with Czechoslovak costume jewelry of the early 20th century.

Their business developed in Gablonz, now Jablonec nad Nisou in the Czech Republic, an important historic center of Bohemian glass and jewelry production.

Following the First World War, their workshop became particularly renowned for elaborate jewelry incorporating richly colored Bohemian molded glass and exotic decorative influences drawn from Ancient Egypt as well as Chinese and Indian art.

Modernist articulated bracelet by the Wilhelm Leyser manufacture, created in Idar-Oberstein, Germany, during the 1950s-1960s.

Each panel features a different abstract enamel composition in a sophisticated palette of deep purple, mauve, dusty pink and reddish brown.

Fine metal partitions outline a series of organic and biomorphic shapes reminiscent of cells, pebbles or cosmic forms.

French bracelet attributed to Mithé Espelt, circa 1950. Glazed ceramic with gilt decoration.

The volumes, thick ceramic links, unglazed earthenware backs and its distinctive color palette is typical of Espelt’s work.

Mithé Espelt rarely signed her jewelry, making stylistic and technical analysis essential for attribution.

Born Marie-Thérèse Espelt (1923–2020) in Lunel, Camargue, Mithé Espelt entered the Montpellier School of Fine Arts at just sixteen years old, studying drawing and sculpture before moving to Paris after World War II.

There she collaborated with ceramic artist Émilie Decanis and also created pieces for the fashion house Lanvin. In 1946 she returned to Lunel, establishing her own workshop within the Hôtel de Bernis.

Over the following four decades she developed a unique body of work, inspired by the flora and wildlife of the Camargue, including mirrors, jewelry, decorative boxes, trays, vases and ceramic objects distinguished by brilliant enamels, genuine gold decoration and refined craftsmanship.

Although her production remained relatively discreet during her lifetime, Mithé Espelt is now internationally celebrated.

Vintage Egyptian open cuff bracelet crafted in 900 silver, dating from the 1940s.

Designed as a coiled snake, it features an engraved head decorated with turquoise cabochons together with small red glass cabochons.

The bracelet bears three silver hallmarks, including the traditional Egyptian square hallmark, confirming 900 silver purity.
