As a teenager, Jorge Ribalaigua left Havana with his brother, convinced that the farewell would only be temporary. More than sixty years later, he embarks on the most important journey of his life: returning to Cuba to reconnect with his past, his family, and the memory of his father.
His father was Constante Ribalaigua, born in Lloret de Mar and destined to become a legend in Havana. He was the man who turned the daiquiri into a global icon from behind the bar at "El Floridita", the bartender who captivated generations of customers and inspired Hemingway.
But this is not only a story about a cocktail. It is the story of a family separated by history. The story of a city that still holds onto its memories. The story of a legacy that forever changed cocktail culture around the world.
From Lloret de Mar to Havana.
