يظهر دقة الفن الإسلامي في معالجة الأسقف والأخشاب، حيث تعود هذه التفاصيل الملونة والمنقوشة بالذهب والخطوط العربية إلى التجديدات المتلاحقة التي مرت بها القبة، لا سيما إصلاحات السلطان المملوكي قايتباي.

هذه صورة تفصيلية لميدالية من معمودية القديس لويس، وهي حوض مملوكي شهير من القرن الرابع عشر مصنوع من النحاس ومُطعّم بالذهب والفضة..
يُعتقد أن الشخصية المركزية تُمثل السلطان المملوكي بيبرس، جالسًا على عرشه ممسكًا بكأس، ويحيط به حاشيته.

يُنسب هذا العمل الفني، الذي يُرجح أنه صُنع بين عامي 1320 و1340 في مصر أو سوريا، إلى الحرفي محمد بن الزين.
This is a detailed image of a medallion from the Baptism of St. Louis, a famous 14th-century Mamluk basin made of copper and inlaid with gold and silver.

The central figure is believed to represent the Mamluk Sultan Baybars, seated on his throne holding a cup, surrounded by his courtiers.

This artwork, likely made between 1320 and 1340 in Egypt or Syria, is attributed to the craftsman Muhammad ibn al-Zayn.
