Hi All,
Recently someone asked about reel feedback. The person explained he wanted to go to ILM and I just thought to myself "Damn, this guy is super good, but I doubt he will ever go to ILM with this portfolio..."
He missed one of the most important points of displaying his work so I decided to share a few tips from my 10 years of mixed full time employee and freelance work for both ILM, TTF, MPC, and various cartoon houses. I've made commercials, mobile games, vr games, computer games, museum installation, feature films to Indy projects, - by now I know my way around most industries.
In the beginning my notes were just unstructured learnings I put together over the years but I don't work as an artist anymore and figured it would be a waste not to share them.
In order for people to better remember I wrote it down as a strategy. You can read the whole thing here.

I hope you find it relevant and feel free to ask questions or share your learnings below.
