I started art my career with a 2 year art course at Blackpool and the fylde college. Where i studied fine art, print, graphics, sculpture and A level in art and art history. I pursued my career with a 3 year Illustration course and have a degree in Scientific and Natural History Illustration. I

have produced, hyper real digital medical illustration for books, magazines and online platforms for over 25 years, where i learn't that detail and accuracy is important. I started doodling a few years back, seeing where my ideas would take me, keeping the almost photorealistic style of anatomical illustration but combining it with a dream world - a line to the subconscious. My inspiration comes from my surroundings , my kids and a love of nature, and the dynamic relationship between people and animals, all wrapped up with a creative twist and an attitude. I've spent so much of my life illustrating precise drawings, my rebellious side needed to break free and create something that makes people curious and ask, but why? My passion for detail comes from my skills as an illustrator. I started out in water colours, then acrylics which was easy to work with and suited my techniques. I also work with oils because of the depth and as a challenge. I like working with all medias and i often take my half finished paintings into photoshop and play around with fun ideas and compositions. For commissioned art pls contact me :)
