SAS Canada is proud to share that we’ll be exhibiting “ThisPlacement” from July 13th-19th! The exhibit will feature work from our 2021-2022 exhibition fellows, who had the chance to participate in SAS Canada’s 2021 Exhibition fellowship.

“ThisPlacement” explores the disconnection and alienation racialized and newcomer youth in Canada are faced with. Artists will be exploring their relationships to their cultural identities, and how that has been shaped by their lived experiences as racialized “Canadian” youth.

Come visit the hallway gallery over at (which is open from 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM between Monday - Saturday) to check out all of the artwork our participants have worked on. We hope to see you there!

The Youth Creatives Alliance has officially launched! The coalition is made up of various community organizations to provide joined programming and opportunities for young emerging artists in our communities. Stay tuned for future opportunities from the coalition. ✨
