Contemporary Art Gallery based in Berlin. The result are exhibitions presenting fascinating, meaningful and innovative contemporary art.
Luisa Catucci Gallery born in January 2017 as evolution of Cell63 art platform, previous project of the Italian artist and curator Luisa Catucci. After 150 exhibitions showing over 200 emerging artists from all over the planet, the gallery owner felt was time for a fresh start with a new body of work of stunning established and emerging artists from the international contemporary art scene. Being
art a fundamental passion of her life, Luisa is always on the lookout for surprising works by outstanding artists, with deep philosophical, ecological and cultural meaning. Placed in Neukölln, in the heart of the Schillerkiez, the gallery has benefited from that breath of fresh air responsible for the huge transformation of the area’s facet during the last decade: that type of spark making Berlin so famous and attractive all around the globe. With this spirit, in addition to regular exhibitions, Catucci also organizes multi-dimensional events in the gallery combining art with pleasure, discourse and culture, Berlin style.

A PSALM FOR THE WILD BUILT
Artists: Marion Mandeng – Barbara Boekelman – Eleonora Roaro – Cathy Jardon – Irina Gabiani
Duration: 20. June – 29 August 2024
🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷
Midissage: 17th June 2024, 6-9pm
🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷
Taking its title from the eponymous book by Becky Chambers, this exhibition aspires to be a visual poem in reverence of the wild built. It stands as a declaration of love and solidarity from four wild built women artists, alongside the four wild built women running the Luisa Catucci Gallery, to their untamed peers—women, men and those in between, alike.
The inner wildness is a profound, untamed force residing deep within many individuals. Embracing this inner wildness enables women to access their primal power, reconnect with their natural instincts, and navigate life’s complexities with a fierce, unyielding spirit. This wildness defies societal expectations and limitations; it may be contained or restrained temporarily, but it inevitably finds its path to eruption. It is a source of immense strength, resilience, and intuition, manifesting in expressions of profound creativity, fierce protection, and unwavering determination. This torrent of raw creativity places women artists at the forefront of the wild built, despite the historical and societal disadvantages that have denied them the same opportunities afforded to their male counterparts.
Partial peek on our current exhibition:
IN-VISIBLE
An artistic dialog between Venezuelan painter artist Pablo Griss and Finnish generative artist Antti Pussinen. Running until June 15th
🟣
Finnish artist Antti Pussinen and Venezuelan artist Pablo Griss share a fascination with the interplay of invisible physical phenomena such sound or magnetic fields and revolve their artistic practices around this intrigue. In their exploration, both artists unravel the profound connection between external forces shaping reality and the subtle reverberations imprinted within the intricate tapestry of existence.
They share an urge to interweave art, science, and philosophy, stimulating the viewer with masterpieces working as reminders of the cosmic interconnectivity embracing all existence. On the other hand, the aesthetic outcomes of Antti Pussinen's and Pablo Griss's artistic expressions are markedly divergent. The common ground between the two artists appears to be their shared fascination with imperceptible elements, coupled with a mutual impetus to transmute these invisible nuances into the visible spectrum—aptly encapsulated by the exhibition's title, IN-VISIBLE. The decision to curate an exhibition dialogue featuring these two particular artists is further motivated by the visual counterpoint that distinguishes their respective works

At the Luisa Catucci Gallery, we believe in the power of inspiring art and culture.
Humanity’s emancipation and evolution, since the beginning of time, is reached by feeding the soul and brain with stimulating nourishment, in order to open more doors hidden in our brains, to become better beings, better societies and thus a better planet. Art is an outstanding power food. We truly value its fundamental role of instigator for reflections and feelings out of the ordinary.
Based in Berlin, in the newly trend neighbourhood of Schillerkiez Neukölln, just a few meters away from the unique park of Tempelhofer Feld, Luisa Catucci Gallery, is more then just a conventional art gallery; it places itself as one of the fundamental elements of the area’s cultural turmoil.
The gallery’s program focuses mainly on art exhibitions, inspired by ecological, social and existential matters, through a variety of media, including photography, video, painting, sculpture and printmaking.
Beside the exhibitions, Catucci organises regularly multidimensional events, in order to bind art with talks, culture and enjoyment, supporting the vibrant spirit of the town and the area.
As a natural evolution of a 15 years long project of the Italian curator and artist Luisa Catucci, known as Cell63 artplatform – a space to work and exhibit for young emerging artists- Luisa Catucci Gallery took on board, since January 2017, a new assortment of established and emerging artists from the European art scene, naturally with attentive eye to the Italian one.
Luisa works permanently in contact with the artists represented, not only to develop the gallery’s exhibitions and international art fairs, but also to accompany them in their professional career, outside the gallery’s wall. Several of our artists have already exhibited at museums and public institutions worldwide, or took part in prestigious exhibitions, such as Manifesta or Venice’s Biennale.
