所有藏品的主要材质均为老柚木，柚木不算最名贵的木材，但却是所有木材里面木质最为稳定的品种，耐腐蚀，不会因温差过大而变形开裂，尤其是经过数百年风雨洗礼的老柚木，从藏品表层保留的风化面即可看出，部分地方经过手工适度打磨露出木材新鲜的纹理和色泽，以此强烈的对比来显现作品的年代久远，自然的笔触和烙印呈现出沧桑的美感，同时也证明了柚木的生命力是如此强大，数百年的侵蚀也改变不了其华丽的本质。
