🧶 This cute little cardigan was finished a few weeks ago.
After mastering the granny square, I discovered the hexagon cardigan and wanted to challenge myself.
Learned how to do the ruffled border along the way. 🥰

I think it turned out pretty cute

👇I used to say this often, amongst many others things. And that left me feeling like a yellow person living in a purple community. And all those purple people looked at me funny for being and speaking as a yellow person.

Might not make sense to some but I know it will make sense for others.
Money helps, no doubt, but it shouldnt dictate how we live our lives everyday.
Be the difference. To make a difference.

A little reminder that art can be found in almost anything.

These ghosts/pumpkin/ Frankenstein plant decor, all started as pieces of driftwood and weathered wood that might have otherwise been overlooked. With a bit of imagination, paint, and creativity, they became some friendly Halloween visitors!
I love taking simple, natural materials and turning them into something fun and unique. No two are ever exactly alike, and each one has its own personality.

A Little Thank You🧡...
This morning when I opened the shed, I found a surprise waiting for me.
Someone had taken one of the free letters from the shed and later left behind a handmade set of devil sticks with a note saying they were free for the next person.
I don't know who you are, but thank you.
One of my hopes with the shed has always been to create a small space where kindness, creativity, and community can be shared freely. Seeing someone take something that was offered with love and then leave something of their own for someone else is incredibly special.
Your gesture made me smile , warmed my heart and reminded me why I keep doing this.
Thank you for adding your own little bit of magic to the shed. ❤️

On that note:
I’ve always been someone who sees art in things other people might overlook. 🤎

A piece of leftover wood from a renovation, a weathered piece of driftwood, something old, imperfect, or simply sitting around waiting to be forgotten — I see possibilities.

I love giving those pieces a new life and turning them into something creative and meaningful. Not everything needs to be expensive or perfectly made to be beautiful. Sometimes the most special pieces come from the simplest things. 🌿✨

That’s a big part of what the art shed is about — creating, repurposing, and finding beauty in the things around us.

This cute little pumpkin set was created from left over wood from a home reno, and some washed up drift wood. Priced at $20 for the set. 🎃🌻
